Figured since I have this LJ account, I might as well use it. I haven't touched this thing in months, but you know whatever. I'm sure it'll come in handy, especially for any of my blog fans who happen to have LJ accounts.

Oddly, I got a message on here reminding me that my birthday is this weekend...don't know why I needed to be reminded of it, nor why LJ seems to think that I'm my own friend.

Also it seems odd that I'm going to be 26, which puts me 4 years away from being 30, which kind of makes me feel old, but then again doesn't. Thankfully my kids aren't anywhere near the age where they start calling me "old man" or say things like "you're to old Dad." like I used to put my dad through lol.

I don't post on here really. lol. For some reason I find it hard to keep more then one blog, webpage, or whatever going on the web. I like everything being in one convenient spot basically. Perhaps I'm not capable of multitasking. Either way, my "Naveed's Realm" blog is the only thing I really keep up to date and is my internet "baby" I guess. I think the only thing I keep going besides that is my deviantart page that is only updated 1-3 times a year, whenever I come up with something new to showcase there.

As far as other things going on, there really isn't much. I've been playing Pirates of the Caribbean Online for the last couple weeks, which is rather fun. I mainly stick to ship combat or doing some random quest to get more money in the game. The sad thing is I'm forking out $10 a month for it. I never thought I would do that for a mmorpg. Odds are I'll cancel it in about two months because I'll grow tired of it.

Finally, a 6 day vacation starting this coming Monday! YAY! Finally some time to sit on my butt for more then 2 days a week. Honestly I'm not doing anything really special during my vacation, but I'm gonna be totally totally lazy and enjoy it. Hehe! I can't wait!

Now for the more important subject. I'm closer to getting my stormtrooper armor! Yes! My wife found someone to lease her horse and that way we get more money, which means I can  save more and get my armor. On top of that I can support my addiction to books. Fun fun.

Well maybe not, but I do have a large enough collection that it makes it hard to know what I want to read. Plus I tend to be in the middle of more then one book at a time. Kinda confusing sometimes.

Other then that, hopefully I'll be able to get a full vacation soon. 5-7 days worth of one. I hope within the next couple of weeks actually, as long as my work crew stabilizes.

I like Star Wars. I like it a lot. Ever since middle school actually, where I was obsessed with it until about 9th grade. That was 12 years ago. Although I'm not quite as obsessive of a fan as I was then, I still love it. So much in fact I really want to get a Stormtrooper out fit and join a costuming group. Unfortunately funds are lacking for that right now, mainly since it will take probably about $1000 to get a good one put together.

So why am I randomly bringing this up today? Cuz the Clone Wars movie that premiers in 10 days. Saw the trailers and it got me going on a Star Wars kick all week long. Lol. Also I got a great idea for a piece of fan fiction involving either Stormtroopers or Clone Troopers. Dunno which yet.

As of today I am done with jury duty for at least 2 years. I was selected for a trial last week and in all honesty it was a lot more entertaining then I thought it would be. Also I got to see why trial by jury is such a good system. After today I can honestly say that I'm glad that our juror system is the way it is.

I just learned that the remake of The Day the Earth Stood has Keanu Reeves in it. Why on earth would they choose him? I'm so depressed now.

I took some pics of a different spider today too, but they came out to blurry to display. Once I get some more batteries expect more pics! I'm gonna try and get something besides spiders. Speaking of which...ants move to fast to take pics of. At least for my camera.

Just took this picture only minutes ago. Took forever to get it focused right. I think I took nearly 20 non-focused images just to get it. I've been having fun using my digital camera's close up settings and this is one of many images of bugs I'm working on taking. Whenever I see a good chance for a pic I go for it.

Btw it's a daddy long legs if you couldn't tell. Oddly enough it's not an actual spider, but is more closely related to scorpions.
